I'm going to experiment with something to maybe get the double-clicking issue to go away, and it will make the link inactive. It shouldn't be more than an hour tho. And it will likely be between 2 and 3 a.m., so only me and scuff will be affected ;) I also don't have high hopes for the issue to get resolved, but I'm giving it a try anyway.
