Title: Poor guy

I am feeling sorry for old Jay Gibbons, he is doing so bad here, has just 2 hits (one HR) in almost 30 at bats.

Fans are starting to get tired of him and he seems to be feeling the pressure.

Its so bad, he needs to prove he can play and be healthy, but he is not helping himself.

On the other hand, Oscar Salazar started very hot.

He can't play, and can't be healthy. And that's why I have a hard time feeling sorry for him.

He Hit two Hr's last sunday and drove 3 runs, also made a key error at the field, but seems to be getting comfortable.

I do not know wether he will hit another Hr or not, but man, what a big, impressive and long Hr he hit last night.

It was his 4th Hr of the season, but it was, according to the radio broadcaster, one of the most larger Hr (if not the larger) hit ever in the Magallanes stadium. I saw the replay later and it was indeed a towering blast, cleared the board and left the stadium all the way out to the streets.

He seems to be getting his swing and time together and looking like a man who can contribute with the team.

As a Magallanes fan, I hope so.

Free agent Jay Gibbons hit his second and third homers of the VWL season on Sunday.
He's still just 6-for-40, and he managed to commit two errors in left field in the game. Gibbons will have to do a lot better if he hopes to go to spring training with a realisitic chance of winning a spot on some team's bench.
